CHOP CHOP TEAMED UP WITH OSEYO TO CREATE A COMMEMORATIVE NOODLE CUP CELEBRATING THE YEAR OF THE OX.
The special noodle cup, kicked off the Year of the Ox with a Korean ox bone broth accompanied by noodles and Mandu dumplings with a spicy ox and shrimp filling. The collaboration noodle cup dubbed Lunar Firecracker, is inspired by our collective experience of spending New Years in Shanghai watching an entire city of children letting off firecrackers. It also brings forth Oseyo’s Lynn Miller's family tradition of making and eating Mandu to commence the year.
“Symbolizing longevity—long noodles, long life, our ox bone broth is paired with another Lunar New Year favorite: the dumpling. Symbolizing wealth—think boat-shaped ingots in ancient times, ours is a spicy Mandu that is the 阳 (Yang) to the broth’s 阴 (Yin).”
